Shimpling – Flood Management Plan – proposals

Following the severe flooding that occurred around the parish in the winter of 2019/2020, the Waveney Local Drainage Board have developed a set of proposals to specifically deal with the situation affecting Shimpling. These consist of a series of ponds, leaky dams and flood meadows and these are shown on the attached plans. It is hoped these proposals will be carried out during 2023.
