After the severe flooding December 2020, the Parish Council has been surveying the watercourses and ditches as part of the Norfolk Strategic Flood Alliance (NSFA). This is a new taskforce aiming to strengthen Norfolk’s resilience to flooding and is to be chaired by Lord Dannatt. With an independent figure guiding round-table discussions of the county and district councils, Anglian Water, the Environment Agency, internal drainage boards, and others, it is hoped greater collaboration between the authorities can be fostered.
